SHOT OF COURAGE is a band of musicians from the south suburbs of Chicago that were inspired in 2018 to put a band together.
They were able to combine their different tastes in music genres to develop a unique playlist of rock, country and pop tunes.

Mike grew up in the little town of Goodenow. In his teens he was inspired by Gene Simmons and Paul McCartney to start playing the bass guitar. He then joined his first band at age 23 and over the years has played in numerous bands, covering all types of music. He enjoys working with all of his guitars but his go-to is his beloved 6 string.
Art (Tudi) Bustos
Tudi remembers watching the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show in February 1964 and like millions of other kids and teenagers, was hooked. He was fascinated watching them play those cool guitars and amazed at their vocal skills and harmonies. Fast forward 50+ years and he feels totally blessed to be able to play some of their music in front of an audience. Tudi says he is now living his dream.
Rick Krabbe
Rick started the drums at the age of 7. He was in band in school and joined the marching band in high school. Outside of school he played in several different bands. He put his drums aside for several years until recently getting together with friends to start up Shot of Courage.

Denis grew up loving music.
